This design includes an active area and an imaginative play area. Children skate or ride bikes around a paved path and play ball or net games in the central lawn. A 'castle' with hedges and arborvitae for walls and towers is entered via a 'drawbridge' over a dry 'moat' made of blue fescue. A fort, tree- swing, teepee, sandbox, and topiary carousel animals are some of the garden structures within the castle walls. Benches for adults are located throughout the garden.
